Mike LaBonte conducted the meeting.

Call for opens and IBIS related patent disclosures:

- None

ARs:

- Mike add IBISCHK6 messages to 5.1.3 message list
  - This is about 50% done

New draft BIRDs:

- Bob showed a draft BIRD
- Bob: The IBIS spec has a few sentences that are entirely repeated in a subsequent paragraph.

- Bob showed a second draft BIRD
- Bob: This just fixes the grammar in a sentence about file names.

- Bob showed a third draft BIRD
- Bob: This was found during parser development.
  - This is about parameter file names.
  - We should have required a .par extension for these.
  - If the BIRD does not pass as-is the parser might have to change.
- Mike: Are spaces allowed in file names? That might break some tools.
- Bob: No, but they are allowed in Component and Model names
  - This BIRD also explicitly disallows .ibs, .pkg, .ebd extensions for parameter files.
  - Parameter formats that do not resolve to a single value are disallowed.

IBISCHK6 message list:

- Mike showed the message changes from IBISCHK 5.1.3 to 6.0.0
- Mike: There is a problem with EBDMDL_ERR_84
  - It is printer both with and without a line number

AR: Mike send email to Bob about EBDMDL_ERR_84 message problem

IBISCHK document:

- Mike: The main "boilerplate" of the document needs editing to update for IBIS 6.0
- Bob: I can do that

AR: Mike send IBISCHK document to Bob for editing
